Join artist Chisato Minamimura for this introduction and response to Autograph’s current exhibition Armet Francis: Beyond The Black Triangle. Minamimura will introduce key themes in the exhibition, explore ideas of black history, consciousness and consider the visualisation of resilience and survival from a Deaf perspective.

The event will take place in Autograph’s gallery, in which artist Armet Francis’ photographic journey over 40 years is displayed, documenting the survival and resilience of African diasporic communities and the rich and diverse Pan-African world.
This event will be in British Sign Language only.
The exhibition talk will last around 45 minutes, starting promptly at 6:30pm and will be followed by an informal opportunity to socialise over drinks.
