The Williamsburg Art & Historical Center (WAH Center) is proud to present Beyond Interface and Prompt, a multimedia group exhibition that brings together innovative works by emerging and established artists exploring the evolving relationship between art and technology.
About
As technology continues to advance, its integration into contemporary art becomes not only inevitable but push innovation. Beyond Interface and Prompt marks the WAH Center’s inaugural exhibition dedicated to exploring the intersection of art and technology. Traditionally celebrated for showcasing artists excelling in conventional media, the WAH Center now extends an invitation to both its esteemed Salon members and a new generation of artists to experiment with emerging technological tools.
This initiative embodies founder Yuko Nii’s “Bridge Concept,” which envisions the WAH Center as a multifaceted, multicultural art hub that unites diverse artistic communities and fosters connections between local, national, and international artists across all disciplines.
Set in a 19th-century landmark, the exhibition serves as both a literal and symbolic bridge: connecting historical legacy with future innovation, and expanding the language and form of contemporary art in bold new directions.
Featuring installations, digital art, animation, sculpture, and interactive media, Beyond Interface and Prompt reflects on how technological tools—once merely instruments—are now integral to the way we conceive, produce, and experience art.
