'Between Us' exhibition showcasing personal paintings made by Joanna and other Tottenham based artists who have been attending their classes over last few years.

Joanna Pilarczyk Radecka is a practising artist. Besides her own work, she paints commissioned portraits and works as a freelance illustrator - mainly on hand-painted concepts at the very start of projects - for animation companies. She also runs and teaches art classes at the Engine Room, Hale Village. She has exhibited in Poland, Germany, France and in London.

Joanna's work, mainly portraiture and street scenes, in oils and watercolours, was until recently characterised by a bold colour palette and thick impasto. She is now exploring a new direction by strictly limiting her colour palette, using transparent layers of ink and paint and mixing water based mediums with oils. 

Joanna's classes attract a great variety of people as all are welcome from beginners to more experienced/practising artists. Its a great opportunity for all the students as well as her to meet interesting people and inspiring fellow artists. Regular students have became friends and enjoy working with each other to discover new techniques and explore various subjects such as portraiture, landscape, abstract etc. They work in watercolour, acrylic, ink, pastels, oil and other media.

Every each artist represents different style technique and subject on which they have been working over last few months.
