Kang Contemporary Gallery Opening | "Between Two Horizons" by Annette Cords and Dirk Eicken

About

Cords works in various media and is inspired by language and science as methods for structuring information and constructing meaning. This exhibition showcases Cords's recent Jacquard tapestries which investigate the relationship between visual and textual languages and open up a range of readings to the viewer.

Eicken has previously worked in performance, text and video art; his most recent works focus on painting, using photographs from current events as a point of departure for his multi-layered artwork.
