About
‘Between a Rock and a Divine Space’ brings two artists, Zita Saffrette and Gill Newton, together and highlights their ongoing exploration of time and timelessness, and the mutability of matter. This is the second exhibition in a series of co-exhibitions with the aim of exploring the artists’ interests around the idea of duration – in terms of the accretion of memory linked to the materiality of the world. The objective of the work is to find an intersection between the time(s) of lived experience and the body, and those of the objects encountered
