Buchmann Galerie is pleased to announce the exhibition* In Transit* by Bettina Pousttchi (*1971 in Mainz, lives and works in Berlin) at the gallery.
The exhibition focuses on new works from the* Vertical Highways *series. In her multifaceted oeuvre, which includes photography, installation, sculpture, façade works and video, the works in the series take on a central role. The anthropomorphic-looking and dance-like sculptures made of crash barriers were developed by the artist in her examination of objects that control, regulate and order public space.
