Better Streets St. Paul’s is a group of St Paul’s residents campaigning for Better Streets in their local community, tackling overflowing bins, uncollected waste, and the epidemic of fly-tipping on pavements through the medium of art.
About
This photography and installation exhibition launches their campaign for adequate waste collection systems in St Paul’s, it will demonstrate why waste collection in the area is not working and ask for respect, and adequate, equitable resources and services. If City Hall won’t come to them, they will go to City Hall!
The exhibition will share the experiences and voices of residents, young and old, about how the rubbish makes them feel and how it affects their lives. There will be a mapping exercise at the exhibition, where residents can come and map their problem areas, and a sign-up sheet if they’d like to be contacted for further about the campaign.
