About
The Royal Drawing School presents a selling exhibition of drawings and works on paper by students studying on The Drawing Year postgraduate programme. The graduating artists come from a range of backgrounds and artistic disciplines including painting, printmaking, architecture, photography and illustration. The Royal Drawing School is an independent, not-for-profit resource that aims to raise the standard and profile of drawing through teaching and practice. In addition to The Drawing Year the School also runs The Foundation Year for 18 and 19 year olds, the Young Artists Programme for 10 to 18 year olds, a Public Programme of daytime and evening drawing courses for adults and an International Residencies Programme in the USA, Italy, India, Jamaica, China, Scotland and Wales. The School’s drawing courses are attended by over 1000 people each week.
