About

Berlin Photo Week 2021 is on! If you don’t like crowds and long lines, come over to LiTE-HAUS in Neukölln to see our current photo-video-sound exhibition.

Three rooms filled with works by LiTE-HAUS founder Debbie Davies using unusual photographic methods.

Using a child's microscope toy, Davies began experimenting in 2005 using this unorthodox method to shoot still life, portraits, and nudes. The resulting images were beyond the control of the artist, creating moody, tinted photographs.

The I Love You Project uses the same microscope technology for an interactive global social art project. See and hear participants saying "I LOVE YOU" in different languages. Maybe you get a chance to add your own recording to this ongoing project?

Davies also creates assemblages using discarded materials. Using both video & photography, the sculpture become digital art. See over 30 photos in our rear room. You can participate in this project making more paper flowers. See the link below to book a time slot to work on this art project. No talent needed, See a preview on the e-zine.

Visit our back room to chill in our hammock while enjoying this multi-media exhibition. Kids and pets welcome!
