On September 29th, composer Benjamin Tassie will present a live audio-visual set at MOCA London in Peckham as part of the gallery’s Autumn performance-art series. Featuring visuals by digital artist, Ted Sterchi, Benjamin’s performance will showcase new music alongside work from his 2018 album, bop.
Sitting across experimental pop and art-music scenes, Benjamin’s music incorporates sonic elements from computer games, orchestral music, and analogue synthesisers to create radical new sound-worlds. For his live show at MOCA London, Benjamin is breaking new ground, creating work for live electronic instruments and immersive visuals. Performing was multi-instrumentalist, Benjamin’s set will feature digital sampling, processed vocals, keyboards, synthesisers and drum-pads, to make music that is as energetic and joyful as it is mellifluous and deeply layered.
