This collection of paintings are an ongoing exploration looking into the microscopic world and material research. This fascination started at university when the artist was walking through Richmond Park for a project, it was here that he began by photographing the grains of wood. As he looked deeper and deeper, his obsession with the microscopic grew, evolving to this collection. Currently they resemble the simplest life forms, abstract and seemingly chaotic but expressive, rich tapestries.
