About
This year’s theme invites renowned authors and readers to explore literature through sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell.
Instituto Cervantes Manchester's involvement includes a conversation led by acclaimed authors: Mercedes Cebrián, a Madrid-born writer and translator whose latest work explores our emotional bonds with objects and food; and Xesús Fraga, National Book Award-winning Galician author and journalist whose writing draws on themes of migration and identity. The conversation will be moderated by H. Rosi Song, Durham University professor and award- winning scholar of Spanish and Catalan culture and gastronomy.
Join these distinguished voices for a multisensory celebration of Spanish- language literature. Tickets are free but reservation is required - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/benengeli-2025-escribir-con-los-cinco-sentidos-tickets-1296654481459
