About
The exhibition continues the artist’s interest in the ways that technologies and cultural zeitgeists imbue our experience of the world. Taking its title from a type of audio wave form common to the sounds produced by audio synthesisers from the 1960s onwards, the exhibition uses this as a model for thinking through the question of how we relate to others via psychedelic abandon or direct representation; the new work expanding upon the wave form’s title (the tooth; the saw), its logic (based on harmonic synthesis of alternation and difference), and its somatic effects (electronic music).
