About
Ben Borthwick has been Head of Creative Programme at KARST in Plymouth since August 2020, having previously been Artistic Director of Plymouth Arts Centre and CEO of the Cardiff-based international art prize Artes Mundi. He first encountered work by Charlotte Prodger at Glasgow International in 2014, and subsequently when her work was shown at Tate Britain prior to her winning the Turner Prize in 2018. He will consider BRIDGIT in relation to other works by the artist, reflecting on her use of technology, research and diaristic forms of narrative in relation to queer subjectivity.
The evening will include a screening of BRIDGIT.
