Artwork by Year 12 students from Belvedere Academy

About

For this week’s exhibition, we are welcoming Year 12 students from the nearby Belvedere Academy into the gallery to show recent work. The school was established in 1880 on nearby Belvidere Road in Toxteth, and is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust. OUTPUT gallery’s manager is an alumnus and wanted to reach out to work with the local school in the hope of giving students more experience and knowledge of contemporary art in Liverpool. This exhibition is the end of a short programme with the students following a talk about working in the art world, a visit to the gallery and one to our neighbours the Bluecoat.

OUTPUT is a gallery working exclusively with creatives from or based in Merseyside. It is part of Invisible Wind Factory. The programme is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

The gallery is accessible via four steps, and we have a wheelchair ramp that can be requested by pressing the bell outside our front door. The bathrooms, which we share with the Kazimier Gardens next door, are not wheelchair accessible - our apologies. Premier Inn on Hanover St have agreed to allow OUTPUT visitors use of their accessible bathroom.
