A weekend show curated by filmmaker and UWE academic Liz Banks and social artist Deborah Weinreb around women’s changing identity during their fifties.
About
The exhibition features the participatory film project Red Moon Diaries, directed by Liz Banks, which draws on the everyday thoughts and emotions of women in their fifties from various cultural backgrounds in Bristol.
The launch event on Saturday 16th April from 12pm – 3pm, features guest speakers Estella Tincknell from UWE and Mwenza Bell from Bristol University as well as performances from local musicians and artists. It is hoped that an audience discussion will follow as a response to the work, talks and performances.
