Learn how this audio-visual installation piece came to exist - from the initial inspiration to combing the city of Berlin for material to the final presentation on a videowall. Come and join us for a conversation and a drink!It Might Blow Up, But It Won’ t Go Pop is an audio-visual installation focusing on the legendary status of Berlin’s creative scene represented by advertising and art. 30 years after the fall of the Berlin wall the city now reflects a fusion of commerce and creative expression - a history held like none other. For the collaborative team from different fields the realisation that art and advertising cannot survive without each other, is the creative force and drive for this exhibition. Fine art demands to be seen and needs to be advertised, while advertising consistently looks towards art for influence and to keep up with the zeitgeist.
