Beginners Oil Painting Course

 ​Eddie Goodridge will teach you a simple and uncomplicated way of understanding oil paints and how to use them, without your palette turning to mud.
 
You will learn what supports (boards, canvas etc.) you can paint on and how to make your own gesso. Eddie will show you what brushes, mediums and solvents to use in a safe, clean environment.
 
From just three primary colours, Eddie will demonstrate various techniques of painting, beginning with: how to approach an oil painting and working dry to wet, big to small, thin to thick.
 
You will follow these demonstrations at your own easels, gaining confidence and skills to set you up for a lifetime of enjoying oil painting.
