Bees Don't Make Lemonade

Thursday 14th October: Our first day is going to be a chance for artists who enter our open call to drop off their work ready for our exhibition. Anyone else can drop by and come and get a signature Round Lemon mocktail, or come and have a chat with us.

Friday 15th October: Our Kitchen Gallery Exhibition officially opens on the Friday evening from 6pm. We are creating a show which celebrates every and all artists and is open for everyone to apply for.

Saturday 16th October: Firstly, we are going to have an Art Market in the day from 12pm onwards. Anyone can buy a table for the day and sell their works. In the evening, we are finally bring our Open Mic Night out in to the world. Come down from 6pm for some live art, music, comedy, poetry, spoken word and much more. You can perform, or just come and watch.

Sunday 17th October: It’s our closing party! We will be open all day for anyone to drop by and come and say hi.

Every day you come, there will be other activities going on, such as taking part in our Freshest Lemon contest. Simply decorate a lemon and upload it on social media to win a Frehsest Lemon badge.

How can I get involved?

There are so many ways to be part of this event:

• Enter our open call,

• Sell your works at our Art Market

• Visit us any time and make a Freshest Lemon,

• Just simply come down and enjoy the art

All of the details can be found on our website. 

We want to make this event as accessible as possible. There will be chances to donate and buy artwork, but none of this is essential.
