In this collection of cyanotypes Liz Loveless combines narrative illustration with fine art printmaking. Often veiled beneath a veneer of gentle humour, narratives that appear simple on the surface can reveal unexpected complexities within the artwork. Inspired by a diverse range of subject matter and everyday objects her pictures reflect an interest in the nuances of human and animal frailty. Liz uses a variety of print processes and photo mechanical techniques alongside drawing and analogue photography to explore her subject both aesthetically and conceptually.
