About
Souvenir Drop off Day: Saturday 12th May 2012: 10am-4pm, Pump House Gallery, Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ
June will see Battersea Park become a hive of activity in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. As part of the festivities, Pump House Gallery is hosting 'Souvenir', (6-24 June 2012), a month long exhibition of royal memorabilia and royal memories provided by you the public. The exhibition will see artifacts come together alongside photo portraits and written testaments of the owner's anecdotal stories.
We will be holding a special collection day at Pump House Gallery for the public to drop off contributions to the exhibition on Saturday 12th May between 10am-4pm at the Pump House Gallery. We'll be putting on free sandwiches and refreshments for contributors and professional photographer Tim Mitchell and an Oral Historian Carla Ferrari will also be on hand to record your images and stories.
If you have a souvenir or collection that you would like to lend the Souvenir Exhibition, or a story about Jubilee days or The Royal Family we would greatly value your input. Please see http://pumphousegallery.org.uk/about-us/opportunities/ for details on how to contribute to the exhibition.
