This year, the range of stories, processes and techniques on show demonstrates the diversity and creativity of contemporary photography. Highlights include Michelle Blancke’s fantastical landscapes of secret worlds, Norberto Pezzotta’s examination of beauty in the age of artificial intelligence, Valentin Valette’s exploration of economic development and territorial planning in Oman, and Sabrina Komár’s unconventional use of weaving technique that investigates the ‘family photograph’. 

The BBA Photography Prize is a platform for creatives that offers prize money, online promotion, group exhibitions and a solo exhibition for the first prize winner. As an international photography prize, the BBA Photography Prize recognises creatives regardless of their age, career stage or social background.

In addition to the shortlisted photographers selected by a prestigious jury, the winner of the BBA Photography Prize 2023 (Patty Carroll, USA) will be on show, as well as 50 photographers nominated for the One Shot Award, presented on a digital display.

Opening Night: Thursday 28th November, 2024, 7:00 p.m.

Guided Tour/Artist Talk: Friday 29th November, 2024 6:30 p.m.

Award ceremony: Saturday 30th November, 2024, event starts 6:00 p.m., awards announcement at 8:00 p.m.
