Bauls of Bengal (documentary)

Drawn from both Hindu and Muslim communities, Baul singers have existed for several hundred years in West bengal and Bangladesh, their roots preceding the Partition of Bengal. This film is an entirely Asian production, produced and directed by a Baul singer, Anando Gopal Das Baul. Highlights include inspirational Baul song, and an all-female Baul band, drumming solos, and magical dancing in the forest.
