About

Battenberg-Cartwright is an artist, artwork and Gesamtkunstwerk. Whose work focuses on the notion of the artist becoming the artwork, particularly the notion of seeing themselves together as one artist. Their video works have the running issue of focusing on self portraiture in a post-modern society and representing the artist as a portrait on film. They make and design all their sets and costumes, as well as filming the pieces themselves.
