About

Battenberg is a performance arts exhibition. It is primarily driven and founded to educate our students in the art of performance and hopefully catalyse them by using this liberating medium.

The exhibition has two main dates on Wednesday 29 November and 6 December from 4pm to 10pm at Way Out East gallery (Ava building, Docklands campus). Both events start with in conversation discussions from 4 to 5pm, followed by live performances and drinks in the evening.

The rest of the days there will be a permanent exhibition that people can visit showing artwork from in-house artists and students, opened on weekdays from 9am to 10pm, and on weekends from 10am to 5pm. Both events and the permanent exhibition are opened to the public and no previous booking or registration is required.

The events feature artists Anna Robinson, Wesley Hartwell, Simon Miles + Andrew Calcutt, Dean Todd, Harriet Poznansky, Bobby Barry, Xixi Xiao, Lara Girling, Naida Redgrave, and more. Read the full calendar of performances per date below.
