An Inconvenient Truth is an exhibition exploring and documenting one year of grief, in the many forms it might come across.
About
From writing daily letters to her loved one, to writing letters to grief and exploring the way death is perceived from people who have experienced it in different ways, BATS allows the viewer to relate with the different manifestations of grief. There should be no fear or sadness when exploring the artwork.
We should focus on remembering; and living.
BATS is currently studying Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and is also completing a diploma in creative computing at Camberwell College of Art. She has exhibited internationally (The End is Nigh, Library London, September 2019, Genre.s, École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, 11th April 2018 Rome International Schools’ Association Art show, Rome 2010). Bats is also a founder member of LUVA (Lock Up Visual Art) an independent artist run gallery and project space based in the East End of London.
