About
Based on Paper brings together an encyclopaedic collection of western avant-garde art from the 1960s and early 1970s. The exhibition and catalogue will present selected works from the Marzona collection including drawing, painting, collage, video work and sculpture. The work in the exhibition has its quality in the consistent concentration on works of Minimal Art, Conceptual Art, Arte Povera, Performance Art and Land Art.Artists include Art & Language, Carl Andre, Gordon Matta-Clark Gilbert and George, Richard Long, Bruce Nauman, Blinky Palermo and Robert Smithson.
