Presented by ActionSpace, ACAVA and Barham Park Library, Barham Park Art Festival is part of the Brent Biennial from Brent 2020, London Borough of Culture and showcases the diverse range of creative artworks and people at the heart of the local community.
About
ActionSpace will share the vibrant work of Brent’s learning disabled community in the exhibition Brent Culture Switch. View new artworks created by ActionSpace Brent studio artists and the artworks they have created with the wider learning disabled community in Brent. Explore how the artists have switched their focus during lockdown, using artmaking as a means of expressing their thoughts whilst isolating. For the art festival, join in to create a large, playful sculpture outside in the park, inspired by the local architecture of Wembley Stadium.
Visit ACAVA’s artist studios in Barham Park for an insight into the diverse creative practices that make up ACAVA’s Brent community of artists.
For Barham Park Art Festival, Barham Library will be transformed into an open gallery space, sharingartworks created by Brent’s local artists. There will also be art books for sale.
All events are free and accessible.
