About

With the publication of each issue, the group has a launch night when they exhibit the different artists' work. For this exhibition, the artists worked in collaboration and individually to make portraits. On April Fools' Day Harry Malt, Chris Bianchi, Robert Rubbish, Kate Merry and Stephanie von Reiswitz will be making live portraits of the public in different turns during the launch night, from 6-10 pm. This activity will be repeated every Sunday of April from 1 to 6 pm. For the event, and in correspondence with the date, the Gallery will announce ridiculous actions that sound like a joke but they will actually be done. For the publication of Bare Bones issue 3, The Maurice Einhardt Neu Galleries will present 'Last Night's Taxi Driver, Tomorrow's Lover...'. Bare Bones is a free newspaper made by its contributors featuring work by different artists, especially illustrators, photographers and writers. Amelia Johnstone, Bill Bragg, Chris Bianchi, Echao Jiang, Frank Laws, Gavin Bennett, Hannah Bays, Harry Malt, Heretic, James Pecis, The Marquis of Nowhere, Kate McMorrine, Kate Merry, Leigh Fox, Michael Smith, Neal Fox, Nervous Stephen, Niall O'Brien, Nick Jones, Peter Rapp, Richard Gilligan, Robert Rubbish, Shane Deegan, Slavko Vukanovic, Stephanie von Reiswitz, Svetlana Graudt, Tom Jennings and Zoe Taylor are showing their work in this publication. The featured artists for this issue are Lie-Ins and Tigers, a group of three illustrators -Samuel Kerr, Russell Weekes and Walter Newton- who work in collaboration.
