In association with Art Night 2017, Banshee Magazine is launching The True Colours Issue.
Banshee Magazine is excited to announce its official launch of The True Colours Issue. To celebrate, we are holding a party in association with Art Night on Saturday July 1. Lychee One will play host to an evening of workshops and talks, followed by drinks and music from Balamii Radio host Aisha Zoe.
Banshee Magazine is an art and culture biannual, placing importance on the woman’s internal self – the creative, opinionated and political.
The True Colours Issue puts the spotlight on female pioneers from all creative backgrounds. Collaborating with over 50 artistic individuals, Banshee has gone deep into the heart of its contributors to unleash their truest selves.
FEMINIST ART THERAPY CLASS
Arts Sisterhood UK is a unique, grassroots Arts & Mental Health organisation that offers women and non-binary people affordable art therapy classes across the UK. Arts Sisterhood’s foundations are based on: mental health recovery, artistic expression and intersectional feminism.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Arts Sisterhood UK are no longer able to participate in the event tomorrow evening.

Em Cole hosts a panel discussion with Diana Tap-F, Luisa Le Voguer Couyet, and Rosa Johan Uddoh.
Em Cole is a set designer working between the fields of image, film making and interactive installations. Less than a year into her career she has already established a distinctive vision and worked for the likes of Wah Nails, featured in I-D, Polyester Magazine, Trendland and exhibited work in both the UK and US.

Luisa Le Voguer Couyet is co-founder of Hate, an independently published zine that provides a platform for voices that may otherwise be silent in mainstream media. Rosa Johan Uddoh is an artist aiming towards maximum self esteem. Rosa works mainly by doing performances, running workshops and making ceramics, collage and video. She is also currently in receipt of a scholarship from the Sarabande Foundation.
