What would happen if a group of artists played the financial system at it's own game- printing money & hacking into the debt market to buy and then blowing up £1.2m of high interest debt? Find out Friday 26 Feb at the second online preview screening of the new documentary feature film Bank Job.
About
Featuring ink and explosions, this heist of a feature documentary produced by artist and filmmaker team Hilary Powell and Dan Edelstyn, tells the story of a community coming together to make their own currency and open a ‘peoples’ bank. In doing so they examine how money and debt is created and ask important questions about how the system of money creation might be altered in our favour.
Q&A with Farah Ishaq, John McDonnell MP, Prof Johnna Montgomerie (author of 'Should We Abolish Household Debt') and Eva Watkinson of Jubilee Debt Campaign.
