Back to Basics: Drawing with Monoprint

James Baggaley returns to Clayhill to give us an introduction to drawing with monoprinting. The aim of this session is to develop your drawing practice and explore a more loose and expressive approach to communicating visual language.

During the course you will explore the wider landscape at Clayhill Arts through drawing, linear monoprinting, mixed media and James will also introduce some elements of collage.

The session will give you a chance to revisit your fundamental drawing skills as part of our Back to Basics drawing events in October. Each week your tutors will be focusing on a different method of drawing and mark-making, with a range of expert tutors to give you a chance to really get to grips with a variety of drawing techniques. Everyone who signs up will receive a sketchbook for each session, all drawing materials will be included as part of the price.

These sessions are perfect if you’re out of practice and would like to revisit your drawing essentials. Available as single sessions or sign up for all four as a package for a reduced price.
