Manon Awst & Benjamin Walther in conversation with Heather and Ivan Morison. Artists whose practice consistently takes place as part of a duo may offer a different perspective on creative approaches than those who work as individuals. Although not isolated to contemporary practices, there seems to be an increase in such partnerships. Is this true, or a reflection of trends beyond artistic practices and the influence of curators, fairs and galleries? What wider cultural and political shifts might/could these practices present in the production and presentation of work? Come along, have a drink and share your thoughts.
