Ava Moradi’s work is built on the idea that nature possesses objects of aesthetic value. Chosen stone as her artistic medium, the artist has been visiting mines from Mexico, Brazil to South Iran and bringing unique pieces around the world to her studio. Ava’s new cutting-edge technique consists of engraving classical figures as low relief sculpture. Inspired by her Persian traditions, the artist aims to create a new perspective, reviving and reinterpreting the classics with a contemporary approach.
