Immerse yourself in dark and dreamy moving image, dance and sound as Feeling Blue collective and digital artist Benni Lava respond to Nexus Space.
Feeling Blue and Benni Lava are taking over Nexus Space for one night. Heavily influenced by reality, escapism, relationships and mental health, Feeling Blue use moving image, dance and sound to powerfully communicate emotion through the creation of immersive landscapes. For this takeover, Feeling Blue are drawing on themes from their last work Get in the Sea, referencing its visuals, sounds and movement as they navigate the interactivity of Nexus Space. Through installation and projection, they will take their love for gaming, music video and glitches into sensory overload. Dancers will perform choreography originally created in Platform, with new pathways that allow them to influence and interact with the audiovisual technology, making light and sound ripples as they go. The performance will be followed by a live audiovisual show by digital artist Benni Lava, controlling Nexus Space to the beat of his own experimental electronic music from his upcoming EP.
