An exploration of the transitional world of colours and textures stimulated by the seasonal cycles. In a series of photographic illustrations, visual artist Renaud C. Haslan presents his unique vision in the darkened setting of a church belfry.
About
The Autumn House brings to the Belfry of St John on Bethnal Green a new exhibition by visual artist Renaud C.Haslan.
“The eye and the camera react differently to light. One adapts to its surroundings, the other can be manipulated and create a new perception, show a different vision. The perception of colours depends on the intensity of light.”
Following from the installation ‘Tales from the Autumn House’, and the immersive group exhibition ‘Voices of the Winter Hearth’, CHROMA is Renaud’s personal vision and take on a transitional world of vivid colours and textures stimulated by the seasonal cycles. A journey from pure photography to altered images mostly inspired by Nature, taking place in the darkened setting of a church belfry.
