This exhibit showcases works of emerging artists in a variety of fields. The autopilot is the mechanism that either saves us or kills us, a force that we have to deal with if we don't want to be merely blown through our fast passing lives.

In Zeiten eines kollektiven Narzissmus, einer Übersättigung und gleichzeitiger Leere, erscheint die Rückbesinnung auf das eigene innere Kraftzentrum so erforderlich wie nie. Der Autopilot, bereits ein Archetyp unserer Gesellschaft, ist eine zwielichtige Energie. Er gibt uns zwar Sicherheit in Situationen in denen wir Menschen unmittelbar agieren müssen, denn er funktioniert ohne Reflektion und Emotion. Doch er verführt uns auch zur Trägheit, dazu Verantwortung abzugeben und zu handeln, wie alle es tun, vermeintlich auf Nummer sicher. Der Autopilot ist der Mechanismus, der uns umbringt oder rettet, Fluch und Segen in einem, die Kraft, mit der sich jeder Mensch auseinandersetzen muss, wenn er nicht bloß durch sein schnell vergehendes Leben geweht werden will.

In times of collective narcissism, of over-saturation and simultaneous emptiness, the return back to one's inner power center seems more necessary than ever. The autopilot, already an archetype of our society, is an ambivalent energy. It gives us security in situations in which we humans must act immediately, because it functions without reflection or emotion. But it also seduces us into inertia, into abdicating responsibility and acting as everyone does, supposedly playing it safe. The autopilot is the mechanism that either saves us or kills us, a blessing and a curse, the force that every human being has to deal with if we don't want to be merely blown through our fast passing lives.
