We're All in This Together
Having spent all his life as a welder, Danny was made redundant from a small engineering company. After he lost his job he took out some emergency loans. He looked for work every day. Separated from his wife, once he paid child maintenance, outstanding loans, gas, electricity, he was left with around £2.20 a day for food and clothing. He died May 2014.
Neil Martinson met him in 2011. In this show Neil uses photography, sculpture, video and installation to illustrate one man’s experience and to explore the themes and words of David Cameron and George Osborne:
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
