This August, we are celebrating a selection of the artists and makers that we have had the pleasure of working with over the past year
About
We are open for two weekends on the 5th / 6th and 12th / 13th August to showcase a selection of works by some of our leading artists.
The summer at Fen Ditton Gallery has been a busy one so far, with Chris Winch’s artist residency, which took place for two weeks in July, enticing visitors out to find discover more about his work and connection to the River Deben. It allowed Chris the chance to connect with the River Cam too, and he enjoyed exploring how “the river, though controlled and constrained, still has the power to affect its surroundings and the lives of those people around it.”
A number of Chris’ work will be exhibited as part of our August Exhibition, alongside a selection of artists that we have had the pleasure of working with over the last year, including works by emerging artists Felix Higham and Euan Evans; original prints by Alan Davie, Nigel Hall RA and Kittie Jones; charcoal drawings by our first artist-in-residence Kate Boucher; and paintings by Rosemary Cullum, Justin Hawkes and Chris Winch.
