About
We are looking for works inspired by this question, what does home mean to you?
Does home represent a place of comfort, safety, family? Does a home have to be a building? Is a home a spiritual term or a group of people? What are your experiences of making home? Is it special objects or traditions that make it your home?
The What Makes a Home? exhibition opens 17 July 2023 in Atkins Gallery and is supported by Hinckley & District Museum who are lending objects representing our homes of the past.
Artists can submit up to three pieces on the theme for £12 and the submission dates are 3 July to 7 July 2023. For more information on Atkins Gallery Open exhibition please email info@atkinsbuilding.co.uk
