An exhibition featuring local people in a small area of Tottenham surrounding Craving Coffee and Fountayne road.
About
The work shown is a collaboration between photographer Yannick Lalardy and artist Rachel Walker and curated by Alice Bednarova. Combining photographs and drawings to present a series of portraits and urban/interior images, it explores the diverse mix of people that live and work in the area.
The exhibition aims to capture Tottenham in it’s current state in a time when the borough is changing rapidly due to development leading to increases in rent, thus pushing people further out of this area of London. The artists feature people who have all witnessed a period of change within Tottenham within the last two decades.
