About
Judith Cain is a special artist. Having exhibited with Thackeray Gallery for nearly 30 years, Judith’s passion for painting is only matched by the adventurous spirit that drives her. Travelling to distant locations & cultures, Judith immerses herself in the colours, textures, smells and people of each place visited. Upon her return she recollects her journey through paint, creating a new body of new & unseen work.
'ASSAM to BHUTAN-The Space Between'
The title of this latest collection, does exactly that by creating incredible compositions of everyday events & people, infusing them with pattern & vibrant colour. Each distinct, layered finished piece gives the viewer a unique perspective of these exotic locations that still maintain an air of mystery around them.
Comprising of nearly 30 artworks of Assam, located in the State of India, and Bhutan, known to the West, as “one of the happiest places on earth”, these paintings will be on show at Thackeray Gallery until the end of March.
