A digital exhibition of video art by Archie Brooks, Beth Chamberlain, Madeline Thompson, Josh Hart, Alan Newham, Lucy Teoh, and Leo Gill. Curated by Archie Brooks and Beth Chamberlain.

About

Throughout the week selected artworks will be shown online with accompanying texts from the artists. This will culminate in a live talk from curator, and Assembly House studio holder, Archie Brooks on Friday 24 April.

Duration, light, space and sound weave together to films from different artists. Investigating how film can be used in contemporary art, this exhibition explores experimental ways of
viewing, manipulating and experiencing video art.

Each day the videos will be live on our site: assemblyhouse.art/blog and will be live on our Facebook.

Archie Brooks has a diverse practise, encompassing painting, video and more. He is currently a student at Leeds Arts University and a studio holder at Assembly House.
