About
Featuring Billie Clarken, Mark Corfield-Moore, Marlon De Azambuja, Allan Gardner, Monika Grabuschnigg, Jason Gringler, Nils Köpfer, and Brittany Shepherd, the group show asserts the gallery’s European presence through an examination of the dualities of positive and negative; construction and destruction; beginning and end.
Laden with a healthy dose of humour, heat, both literally and figuratively, serves as the housewarming's focal point. From Marlon De Azambuja’s literal burning to the delicate eroticism of Brittany Shepherd’s paintings, the works gesture towards a latent potential, one that is possibly destructive, or gratifying, or both.
