An exhibition of paintings and poetry by Georgie Mason
About
Working from her studio at Stepney City Farm in London, Georgie paints from memories and sketches of places she’s visited. She uses a variety of materials to build texture including polyfilla, mud and beeswax and paints with anything from her fingers to windscreen wipers.
Since graduating in 2015, she has had work accepted into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Affordable Art Fest in Goa, work shortlisted for the New English Art Club Annual Exhibition and National Open Art Prize, was shortlisted for The Royal Bath and West of England Art Scholarship and was winner of the Harry Walker Prize at the Bath Society of Artists Annual Exhibition.
This body of work will consist of around 30 paintings inspired by her recent travels in India. Prices range from £150 - £3000. There will also be some older works available at reduced prices.
There is free on-street parking nearby and also free parking at Morrisons supermarket (5 minutes walk) for up to two hours from 10am - 4pm on Sunday’s and until 9pm Monday to Saturday.
Please spread the word and we look forward to seeing you!
