During Berlin Gallery Weekend, ascribe x Freunde von Freunden will explore the possibilities of displaying and collecting digital art.
About
A special exhibition with ascribed works by digital artists Jonathan Monaghan, Valentin Ruhry and Harm van den Dorpel will be on display. The latter just sold his piece 'Event Listeners' to MAK Vienna - making it the world's first museum to buy a digital art work with Bitcoin and that is authenticated by 'ascribe‘.
'Event Listeners‘ will be exclusively on display and sale.
Furthermore Masha McConaghy (co-founder of ascribe) will speak on digital ownership - how to authenticate, collect and preserve digital art.
