ArtWorks Open 2013 Barbican Arts Group Trust is delighted to host ArtWorks Open 2013, running from 30th August to 22nd September at the ArtWorks Project Space London. This year the show will be selected by artists Reece Jones and David Kefford. Each year one selector passes the batten to a new selector. Past selectors have been Timothy Hyman / Charlotte Hodes (2009), Graham Crowley / Timothy Hyman (2010), Kiera Bennett / Graham Crowley (2011), Reece Jones / Kiera Bennett (2012). The exhibition offers artists from all stages of development a chance to exhibit alongside unexpected juxtapositions with an added bonus of £1000 and £500 prize. In addition both winners will be offered the opportunity to use one of Barbican Arts Group Trusts exhibition spaces for a solo show or to curate their own show including artists of their choice.
