ArtWest Open Studios Weekend in NorthWest London presents six studio buildings with nearly 50 studios showing the individual working practices of painters, sculptors, furniture designers, glassmakers, ceramicists, textile-makers and artfilms

On the first weekend in October, for its 6th year, ArtWest opens the doors of a fantastic array of creative disciplines. Artists and designers work in individual ways that are most evident within their personal working space. To see this is both an opportunity as well as a privilege.
With over 45 studios to view, visitors are offered the chance to meet and talk to painters, sculptors, printmakers, ceramicists, textilemakers, furniture designers, glassmakers and video artists. Each year collectors buy works, and studio prices mean some excellent bargains are to be had. A free Mini Bus service will run from Hythe Road to Harrow Road NW10, making it easier to visit the different buildings and providing a convivial afternoon outing.
For this year’s Postcard Exhibition, ‘Regeneration’ is the theme. Original artworks, of postcard size, are available for sale anonymously at only £25 each. Money from sales goes towards next year’s Open Studios Weekend and community workshops.
