About

Join the makers of Artvisor for a discussion about the creation of their innovatory art advisory platform and the state of contemporary art consulting today.
Artvisor works closely with an international network of leading galleries to offer access to artworks by both emerging and established artists. Artvisor’s online marketplace combines a proprietary algorithm with the expertise of art advisors to help individual and corporate clients build their collections with bespoke acquisition strategies. The platform makes expert and impartial art advice accessible anywhere, ensuring the world of contemporary art is easily navigable for new collectors.
About the speakers:
Piero Tomassoni is a curator, art critic, and Founder of Artvisor. Tomassoni works closely with museums and foundations, galleries, and international collections. He has lectured on contemporary art and the art market in various institutions including the Sotheby's Institute, Christie's, SDA Bocconi, HEC Paris and the Catholic University of Milan. He often appears in newspapers and in interviews, including on CNN, BBC and Harper's Bazaar. He has curated over 30 exhibitions of both established and emerging artists, and written in magazines in the United Kingdom and Italy. He sits on the board of the Fondazione Morra in Naples. Before joining Artvisor full time in 2017, he qualified and practiced as a corporate lawyer in London.
Nico Epstein is partner and COO of Artvisor. He is a curator, art historian and art advisor. Epstein’s academic analysis of Susan Sontag's On Photography was published by Routledge last year. He is a frequent lecturer on contemporary art at Christie's Education in London where he recently designed and taught the course New Dynamics: The Digital Contemporary Art World.
