A workshop for artists who wish to develop their practice within the arts and health sector.

About

Meadow Arts Inspires Arts, Health and Well Being is the first of three training events for Creative Practitioners registered with Meadow Arts and also artists working in the wider Visual Arts Networks in the region. Funded by the Elmley Foundation, the session will examine best practice in Arts, Health & Wellbeing through presentations and workshops by Bristol-based Creativity Works and Worcester arts and health practitioner Claire Hilton.

It is ideal for artists who wish to develop their practice within the arts and health sector; both those who already undertake this kind of work and people who are new to it. You will learn how to evidence your work, evaluate best practice and use reflection. The session will also cover different kinds of activities that will enhance people’s wellbeing and how to protect your resilience when working in arts and health settings.

This workshop is free for Meadow Arts CPs, £10 for other artists.

The event is supported with funding from the Elmley Foundation.
